Georgia’s construction industry and AGC Georgia have thrived thanks to the strength of visionary leaders. To ensure continued success, it’s essential that the next generation is well-prepared to face the challenges and seize the opportunities of a rapidly evolving industry.
That’s why AGC Georgia’s Young Leadership Program (YLP) is recognized by members and industry leaders as one of the most valuable offerings available to today’s construction firms. The program provides rising professionals with opportunities to grow their leadership skills, deepen their understanding of AGC Georgia, and build lasting relationships through networking with peers from across the industry.
Beyond professional development, YLP is a cornerstone of AGC Georgia’s commitment to community service. Program participants lead major fundraising efforts and volunteer their construction expertise to support a wide range of causes that benefit children, students, families, and veterans throughout the state.

Student Membership in YLP
The group’s governing Council works hard to plan many activities in Central Georgia and metro Atlanta to help its members develop stronger leadership skills and techniques, learn more about the AGC organization, network with other young construction professionals, and begin developing life-long industry relationships. To enroll in YLP and receive full benefits, each of these people pays a $600 membership. Click here to learn more about YLP for employees of member firms.
Members of AGC Georgia Student Chapters associated with Georgia’s collegiate construction management programs are offered YLP membership for $25 per year. This membership offers them the same benefits as a regular YLP member, less the complimentary registration to our Annual Convention each June or our Fall Leadership Conference offered each October.
